What to expect
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation gives you the opportunity to meet Joanne to discuss your symptoms in a caring, supporting and confidential environment. This is an important session, not just for you to see if you feel comfortable with Joanne as your therapist, but also to discuss any questions you may have regarding your course of Hypnotherapy.
This is totally free, no obligation session lasting around 45 minutes. At the conclusion of the initial consultation, you will be given an audio CD to listen to at home. This will form part of your therapy should you decide to continue.
Treatment Sessions
All sessions are 50-55 minutes duration unless otherwise stated.
Each session will consist of a unique mix of Brain Based Therapy, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy tailored to suit your needs.
The Setting
Joanne’s treatment and consulting room is situated in Lupton House, just outside Brixham in South Devon. Lupton House is a Grade 2 listed building set in a beautiful parkland and has a long and interesting history. First records date back to the doomsday survey of 1086.
In recent times the house was neglected until The Lupton Trust (registered as a Charity in 2009) was formed to rescue the house and its gardens and bring it back to its former glory for the benefit of the community.
The Trust considers that the promotion of wellbeing and sustainable ways of living are central to everything we do. There is an emphasis on harmony, both between those working at Lupton and in their relations with the wider world, including the natrual environment. Everyone is welcome to visit and experiance the beauty and tranquility of Lutpon House.
